Daniel Knight
Bass
Danny is an accomplished actor, musician, song-writer, comedian, and producer based in Saskatoon, and a proud member of the Muskoday First Nation. He graduated from the Gordon Tootoosis Nīkāníwin Theatre's Circle of Voices youth ensemble, and also the Red Spirit and Fire Spirit programs. Danny grew up in a musical family, touring across Canada and the United States with is father's JUNO award winning rhythm and country band Chester Knight and the Wind.

Emma Thorpe
Fiddler
Emma is a Saskatoon-based theatre artist who spends her time acting, choreographing fights, and fiddling. Emma currently holds her Advanced Actor Combatant certification with Fight Directors Canada. Her theatre credits include The Woodcutter and the Lion (Sum Theatre 2017), It's Complicated: A Sondheim Cabaret (Staple Productions 2017), Saskatchewan Outdoors: A Touring Play for Families (Embrace Theatre 2014-2015), The Odyssey (Greystone Theatre 2011), and Doctor Faustus (Randolph Acadamy 2010).

Rob Turner
Drums
Rob is a member of the Wahpeton Dakota Nation. He has been involved in music his entire life learning his first beats from his mother's heart. He is a self-taught musician, performing bass, guitar, and percussion with heavy influences from country and blues. He has played in various settings ranging from old thyme dry dances, variety showcases, music festivals, and as a back up musician for many Indigenous artists touring throughout North America.

Jennifer Dawn Bishop
Gordon Tootoosis Nīkānīwin Theatre
Jennifer is the Artistic Director at the Gordon Tootoosis Nīkānīwin Theatre. She has been involved with the Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company (now GTNT) since the age of 13 and was a participant in the first Circle of Voices program in 1999. During her years at SNTC, Jennifer worked as a actor, stage manager, and workshop facilitator. She has also performed in, and more recently directed, many productions of the Rez Christmas Story. We are grateful for Jennifer's support of Songs in the Key of Cree and look forward to returning to Saskatoon.
